As I had time in the morning on Saturday, I visited Kiyomizu Temple for the first time since the elementary school trip before attending a symposium on Chinese motor industry.
Along the approach to the World Heritage temple, there were a lot of souvenir shops, which were pretty crowded with students from all over Japan and foreign tourists from all over the world.
Ironically, I found the most popular shop for students was not a Kyoto-related shop but the unofficial portrait shop of Johnny's idols.
