This is the 9th straight year of camping in Takasome camping ground, over 1,300 meters
above sea level, at Nagawa in Nagano.
We've visited various places like
Norikura, Kamikochi, many onsen spots, and so.
Unfortunately, my elder son couldn't join us but
he was also in Nagano for the training camp of the basketball team.
We pitched our camping site by the pond. First of all, let's go to Onsen!

After flyfishing at the pond with my son, children enjoyed charcoal-grilled trouts:)

Nagawa specialty 'Touji- Soba' for lunch!
Bright sun through Shirakaba trees, cool gentle breeze, chorus of birds and cicadas, Norikura faraway from the camping site...really relaxing and time flows slowly.

After having dinner last night with a staff whom we've met every year, we went to the side of the pond with him.
When we laid down on the path in the camping ground to look up at sparkling stars, surprisingly, some hotaru flied over us, which seemed like shooting stars in good harmony with stars in the night sky.
A little later, we could see real shooting stars, but couldn't call the wish three times:)
What a wonderful night!

My son in fifth grade drew a map of Japan on a large piece of paper, Mozoushi, as his free assignment of summer homework.
He tried to draw it by himself according to an A4-size sample, which seemed too difficult for him.
But he finally worked it out very well without our help though taking a long time.
Then, he got into the main theme of plotting rivers, plain fields, and mountain ranges.
By looking at that, my high-school-age son got interested in and started to draw the same one.
He seems to plot industrial areas and typical products, which will help his younger brother's study.
It's great, but where to put two large maps up in the room???(^^;;

My wife and I first saw my daughter playing tennis.
Somehow, the start time of each game of a tournament has been always announced only on the very day, so my wife said that most parents haven't gone to the tennis court.
But, as this tournament may be the last game for my daughter in the third year of junior high school, we decided to go to the game.
Just as expected, we had to kill time for about two hours by going to a restaurant.
As a result, they won first, and then lost.
The coach shouted to them,"What on earth are you doing? What have you practiced in your three years?", which carried me back to my junior high school days.

"iPhone4" is largely promoted also in China, so I could see a very interesting TVCM. This model is the special version, which has 2 slots for SIM card and has exactly the same design except a little wider body! And, amazingly, it costs only 499 yuen but has same icons and almost same applications! Of course, on the reverse side, There is no Apple mark:)
