Drawing a map

My son in fifth grade drew a map of Japan on a large piece of paper, Mozoushi, as his free assignment of summer homework.

He tried to draw it by himself according to an A4-size sample, which seemed too difficult for him.

But he finally worked it out very well without our help though taking a long time.

Then, he got into the main theme of plotting rivers, plain fields, and mountain ranges.

By looking at that, my high-school-age son got interested in and started to draw the same one.

He seems to plot industrial areas and typical products, which will help his younger brother's study.

It's great, but where to put two large maps up in the room???(^^;;
