I read The Tokyo Shimbun for a week free trial period.
Though I'm not left wing, its editorial policy is interesting, which makes me feel clearly that it's different from other papers.
The tone itself must be controversial among us, but, I feel, what is required for Japanese media titans is breaking away from some sort of Yokonarabi opinions. (Gentlemen in the media, please don't get angry:D)
As to the paper, the numbers of ad leaflets in the paper are very low compared to Yomiuri and Nikkei that we've read for years, so my wife responded negatively to subscribing to it in place of Yomiuri^^;;
