The exhibition itself was interesting, but, sadly, Tokyo Motor Show couldn't be compared with  Guangzhou (Koh-shu) Motor Show that I saw last time.
 　
Differences in domestic automobile market sizes seemed to be linked to the number of companies and car models at the show.
　

Huge number of motorcycles are on the road in Hanoi.
 　
But, to tell the truth, I wasn't so surprised to see a lot of bikes here.
　
Because I saw more bikes filled the streets in Indonesia just the other day.
　

　

　

　

　　

Compared to Hanoi, the number of motorbikes were very low in Manila.
　
I felt that's because there were many commuter buses called 'Jeepney'.
 　
The impressive vehicles came without break and always seemed to be crowded.
　
　
As to the taxi, every driver rents a car for about 1,400 Philippine Peso(2,800yen) a day from a taxi company and works independently.

I made a lunch date with my wife for the first time in almost a year.
　
We talked a lot in the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant which we've always wanted to visit.
　
Come to think of it, the restaurant of our last date for lunch was Ramen Jiro:)
　

Attended the workshop of Waseda Univ. in a different place than usual.
　
After hearing about Korean parts makers lectured by Prof. Kobayashi, discussed various auto-related issue with participants over drinks.
 　
Happy to come up with new ideas!
　

At the tip of the Boso Peninsula, many wind power plants are seen.
　
I found over 50 windmills in the original size of this photo.
　
It's striking that over 10 generators are lined up along the Kashima-Nada (upper-left part of the photo).
　
Is the electricity by wind power stored in NAS batteries or something...Should I go to see them?
　

We went to Outback steak house for early birthday dinner for my younger son!
 　
Elder son joined directly from his basketball games.
　
Fortunately, the restaurant celebrated him with delicious dessert and a happy birthday song by staff members:)
　

I went to a movie, 'HAPPY FEEL 2', with my son, which was more interesting than I imagined.
　
Meanwhile, my daughter and wife made a cake, 'Buche de Noel' for the dessert according to the recipe my son learnt in his high school class(!).
　
Roast chicken, raw ham, salmon marinade, fried onion & potato, and all that many plates are on the table with Bourgogne.
　
BTW only my younger son who probably believes in Santa will get a present when he wakes up tomorrow:D
　

　

　

I received mochi for 'Ozoni' from my patents living in northern Okayama prefecture.
　
Boiled round mochi, salted 'buri', spinach, 'surume', long green onion, 'katsuo-bushi', and soy sauce-based soup...that's my hometown style ozoni:)
　
It seems to be from preservative foods in the mountain area. How's your ozoni?
